Interested in becoming a Sister of Omega Phi Beta?
For sisters of Omega Phi Beta this experience extends well beyond the college years. Your sisters will be some of your closest friends; there for you when you least expect it and need it most. Your sorority will be an outlet for creativity, socio-political activism, and a source of pride.
We encourage all prospective members to thoroughly research as many organizations as possible before making this life-long commitment. Ask Questions! Attend interest meetings! Find the best fit for who you are and where you see yourself in the future!
Membership in Omega Phi Beta means a life-long commitment to your community, your sisters, and yourself.
Omega Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on March 15th, 1989 by seventeen visionary women with the intent of fighting against the injustices that women, particularly women of color, have been subjected to in our society. Our founders were academic scholars, student leaders and overall extraordinary women that laid the foundation for a sorority that not only believed in, but actively promoted women’s rights.
